North Dakota League of Cities (NDLC) is seeking an Executive Director that is a resourceful, dynamic leader and effective manager with strong financial, public policy advocacy, organizational, and social media skill sets. The Executive Director will create effective working partnerships with city officials, state and federal government leaders, the business community, and other associations. The Executive Director must represent cities of all sizes when advocating for city interests, educating city officials, and creating public policy positions. The Executive Director is the primary lobbyist for NDLC. 

A Master’s degree and at least 5 years of related experience is preferred. Demonstrated ability to serve as an effective advocate for North Dakota cities is essential. 

Starting compensation range is $100,000 to $130,000 based on experience with a competitive benefit package as offered by NDLC.
