This position is for the City of Warren, Michigan and is within the city's assessing department. The candidate will work with the assessor, valuing commercial and industrial real properties for the annual assessment roll and handle valuations for Michigan Tax Tribunal cases.
* At least 5 years of experience in the appraisal of real property.
* At least 3 years of experience in the appraisal of commercial and industrial properties.
* An Associate's Degree or higher.
* Either an MAAO certification (Michigan Certified Advanced Officer), or a general appraiser license and the ability to obtain the MAAO within 3 years.
