The City of Oakland is seeking a strong leader and strategic thinker to serve as the next Revenue and Tax Administrator for the City of Oakland. The Revenue and Tax Administrator role resides within the Revenue Management Bureau of the Finance Department and is responsible for developing revenue and tax enforcement programs that demonstrate efficiency and fairness in the assessment and collection of tax revenue and other fees. The Bureau is responsible for collecting tax and fee revenue on behalf of the City including business license, utility user, parking, real estate transfer, sugar sweetened beverage distribution taxes, excess litter, and mandatory garbage subscription fees.
