The Senior Administrative Director, Diagnostic Radiology, reports to the Senior Vice President, Operations, Hospital Administration and is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for operational and management activities in the following areas: strategic planning, resources management, finances and budget planning, as well as enterprise communications, and directing the overall clinical operations of the Department of Diagnostic Radiology . Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards relating to care delivered within the department. Ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards within the department. Coordinates and facilitates care across locations and departments in cooperation with the division of Patient Care Services. Represents Diagnostic Radiology or Ancillary Services on interdepartmental teams as assigned. Leads change initiatives within the department in partnership with the Department Chairman based on Medical Center strategic goals and patient care initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in business or health care management or other related health care field. Masters level education preferred.
Seven years of experience including three years of managing in a hospital imaging department and five years of management experience.
